The best part, all it will cost you is a couple minutes of your time, once a week. Do you get tired of having to wait two weeks for your garbage collector to pick-up your recycled newspapers? Its up to you how long those old papers have to sit around and collect dust now. Thanks to Abitibi Paper Retrievers, you can recycle your paper waste, while providing the BTVFD with funds essential to fire department operations.

How it works: Abitibi Paper Retrievers are a division of North American based Abitibi-Consolidation. The company specializes in recycling and re-distribution of recycled goods throughout. This company, determined to make the environment a better place, has also found a way to help non-profit organizations such as the BTVFD. Abitibi Paper Retriever provided the BTVFD with five green and yellow dumpsters or ‘paper retrievers’ for us to put up at two separate drop-off sites in the township. All you have to do is bring your paper waste to these drop-off sites, toss them in the bins and sit-back and watch the benefits shine in your local fire department. Its that simple!
